The vague plan is as follows:
Early October - Invite Elodie and Oliver to join the blog.
Possibly agree a format at this point - I was thinking to use a paper size like that used for supermarket booklets.
Though perhaps something smaller would be nicer. What do you think Oliver and Elodie?
Agree a deadline - say end of November
for primary drawings to go up. Including some more finished works and some sketches, with minimal explanations if desired.
Early December - Invite further artists to join, supported by the first works.
Agree another deadline - say early March
for these contributions.
Work on The Plan some more nearer that time.
A collaborative, illustrated publication-to-be, set in and around the supposed 'non-place' of the supermarket. Intended to grow through input from different artists, until finally being printed some time in the future. The purpose of this blog is to allow sharing of work in progress and cross pollination of events/characters/ideas.
I think presenting it like a supermarket magazine/free ad paper is a great idea. It'd fit in with the idea of having adverts for bizarre products etc
